Can I eat normally with dental implants?
Yes, you can eat normally with dental implants once the healing process is complete. After the initial placement of the implant, it is important to follow your dentist’s instructions regarding diet, which may include sticking to soft foods for a few days to allow the implant site to heal. Once the implant has fully integrated with the jawbone and the final restoration (crown, bridge, or denture) is in place, you can return to eating most foods. Dental implants are designed to function like natural teeth, providing a strong and stable bite. However, it is advisable to avoid chewing on extremely hard objects to protect the implant and restoration.
