To our amazing patients,

As many of you are aware, the situation regarding the COVID-19 outbreak has been changing rapidly. Previously we communicated to you about our enhanced safety protocols during this time, however the situation has now changed again.

As of today, the Alberta Dental Association has suspended all non-emergency dental treatments and services, effective immediately. We are unsure of how long this suspension will last at this time.

For the time being we will not be booking non-emergency dental appointments. If you do have a dental emergency, please contact us. Based on the individual circumstances, we will do our best to ensure that you are taken care of within the restrictions we are all under, including performing treatments within our clinic or referring you to designated clinics.

If you have an existing appointment with us, our staff will be contacting you to discuss it. We understand that many of you may be in the process of large, complicated treatment plans. We will do our best to manage your treatments and minimize any impact. If you have any questions in regard to the management of your treatments, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Any patient who has had a rescheduled appointment will be contact as soon as we are able to resume non-emergency dental treatments.

Please be aware that we will be temporarily operating under reduced hours. As such, it may take us additional time to respond to you for non-emergency related inquiries. We request that you avoid visiting the clinic in person, and instead contact us via phone/text (780-962-5223) or email (info@centurydental.ca). Again, we thank you for patience for delayed responses.

In the coming days, we may release dental and oral hygiene tips over social media. These can be excellent resources to maintain your oral health while you may not have direct access to a dental clinic. We encourage you to follow us on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CCDentalCentre/).

Finally, on a personal note we would like to thank each and every one of our magnificent patients. Like many Canadians and businesses, our entire team is dealing with the reality of lay offs and closures. It was a difficult afternoon, calling our patients to cancel their appointments. However, we were incredibly touched when every single one of our patients expressed concern and sympathy for us, even while they may be going through the same situation.

To our wonderful patients, thank you for trusting us with the oral health of you and your families. We thank you for your patience during this temporary suspension, and can’t wait to resume being partners in your oral health, for years to come.

With Kind Regards,

Your Team at Century Dental
